1 April 2012 – 5 April 2012 from £385

Enamel for large-scale public art.

Elizabeth Turrell

Reference: 4D 2611

Ability: Suitable intermediate – advanced

For artists keen to apply for public arts commissions, this is an opportunity to explore enamel as a material, and learn of its full potential to bring art into an exterior environment. All aspects of developing ideas with enamel are covered including direct screen-printing. One day is spent visiting and working on larger samples at A J Wells & Sons Ltd, who have worked with many artists on large-scale creative enamel commissions. An application form is attached to the course details – this should be completed and returned to the Bookings Office. Students will then be contacted to let them know whether their application has been successful.
